The wise Allamah Sayyid Hussain Badkubei
Allamah Badkubei was born in 1876 in the village of Dalan in the city of Badkubah. He was tutored at the hands of his father and completed the primary studies and that of literature in his presence. He migrated to Tehran after the death of his father and resided at Sadr School in that city. He studied mathematics and philosophy with the late Sayyid Abul Hassan Jelwah and the late Mirza Hashim Ashkewari. He also studied logic for seven years of continuous effort in the presence of his teachers who taught this science.
Soon many virtuous scholars gathered around him to benefit from his views and theories.
He migrated to the city of Najaf and attended the classes of Grand Ayatollah Akhund Khorasani. This coincided with the first days of writing the book Kifaya. He also studied fiqh at the hands of Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Hassan Mamqani. Soon many virtuous scholars gathered around him to benefit from his views and theories. Finally, he moved to the mercy of his Lord in the eve of 11th of December 1939 coinciding with the 28th of the holy month of Shawwal in 1358 A.H. and was buried in the neighborhood of his holy grandfather, Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib, peace be upon him.
