Can we escape divine witnessing or hide ourselves, or carry out every act that we feel like, despite believing in a Master that is ‘God’s witnessing eye’? How will we answer them?

During the period of occultation too the blessings and favors of the Imam, peace be upon him, have been seen towards his lovers and followers. The doors of meeting him are not completely shut; in fact, even witnessing him physically cannot be denied.

We are on the verge of drowning in the sea of life, and we are in need of the assistance of God's Wali in order to reach the destination safely. We must seek help from Imam Mahdi, may God hasten his reappearance, so that he may lighten the path for us, and take us with himself, to the destination.

It is not necessary for one to be striving to see Imam Mahdi, peace be upon him; rather, offering two Rak'ats of prayers and then doing tawassul (seeking intersession) to the Holy Infallibles, peace be upon them, may perhaps be better than meeting the Imam.

If one seeks to quench his thirst of meeting the Infallibles, peace be upon them, then visiting the shrines of Ahl al-Bayt is like meeting them, and Imam Mahdi. They are present and watching [us] everywhere.
