The Spiritual Prayers

On his way to Mashhad, Ayatollah Bahjat visited the holy shrine of Abdul-Azim Hassani in Rey every year. He used to come to our house to relax and perform ablution. He used to bring along gifts for all of my household.
One year, I do not know why but he did not perform Zuhr and Asr prayers in the holy shrine. He said he would perform congregation prayers at home. We performed ablution and stood behind him, praying.
He began to pray, with his usual spirituality.
During the prayers, the canaries we kept at home started singing, but more beautifully than ever!
So beautifully that I could not concentrate on my prayers.
When the prayers were over, I did not talk about this incidence to anyone.
I told myself, “I may be all in my mind. Even if this is not fantasy, nothing important happened! Canaries sing, but more beautifully this time.”
The next year, he performed his prayers in our house again, and canaries sang that way again. This event had repeated for some years until I dared to talk about it to people present in those congregation prayers.
To my surprise, they said, “Yes, we also heard their beautiful song but preferred not to talk about it;”
One of them even said, “I felt as if canaries were praying with us.”
I have been missing canaries’ singing for two years...
