His Companion

Ayatollah Bahjat used to pray for everyone after lessons or daily prayers, and then he headed towards home.
From mosque to home, many people accompanied him;
They tried to walk at his heels, and close to him,
so that when he said something or gave some advice, they were the first to hear it.
Sometimes it was so crowded that they hit his heels.
Then he stood for a moment,
closed his eyes and started walking again…...
When he reached home, he took off his shoes ...
and his socks slowly and looked at his heels.
Sometimes his socks were bloody!
